I have thought of Stuart often. Not that we were all that close in HS but as a reminder that no matter what successes we may achieve - in a single moment - life happens. Stuart's passing was so sad because his future was so bright. RIP Stuart Walker
Thanks for posting about Stuart Walker, as I too have often thought of great memories from sports to scouts to school growing up with Stuart. Good man and bless his heart in heaven...
I too have thought of Stuart often over the years. I think of our three years playing basketball for RE Lee and the fun we had. Stuart wasn't a big guy, but he played with a lot of heart and passion and no one could draw an offensive charge like Stuart. He would often drop by my dorm room between classes our freshman at Texas A&M to shoot the breeze. If I'm not mistaken, at the time he was the youngest student admitted to A&M vet school. Also missed is Tom Jordan, another fellow RE Lee basketball teammate and classmate that passed away too young. RIP guys.
Stuart had energy, heart, and talent... from sports to running for class president to academics. I was so shocked when I heard some years ago that his bright future was cut short. He is still missed.
