Libbie and David Lattimore were one of several sets of twins we had in our class at Lee.  We were so sad to lose David in early 2015 and his memory lives on through his sweet and fun twin sister Libbie!

Thanks so much Katie , Allyson , and Nancy. So great to hear

such nice things from friends David and I have known our whole life.

Addiction is the Devil. David struggled with that Devil since high school.

I was with him when he left this world , and I know without a doubt he knew

he'd be seeing Jesus. That helps .

Every year on our birthday, we would see who could say Happy Birthday

first to the other... it got to where we'd stay up till midnight to be the first. It was

always fun. This past May was not so fun.

Hope to see you in Oct! ❌⭕️

David and Libby were in my homeroom. Although we didn't hang out with the same group; I remember that David was gentle and a caring person. My family has had a run in with the devil and sympathize your loss.

I fondly remember David from high school. I also remember regretting we didn't keep in touch. I visited Madeline Bell today, & hope Libbie sees this post. I wish I could have been a friend to him post high school, as he was a quality person. Bless his heart, he's doing great now!

Just went thru all the in memory entries and was both saddened and comforted. We had a large class, and was impossible to know everyone well, much less hang out. But as I looked at all of the photos, pretty sure I had eye contact and/or a nod with just about all of them. As for David, we shared a few laughs. Am happy about that. RIP

So very, very sad to hear of David's passing and to learn of his struggles since high school. Libby I know you must be devastated and I send you my deepest condolences. David was a great guy and always so very kind.

VERY sobering to read these comments re: David, a very good guy to be sure!

Addiction is a horrible and insidious disease, one I have been wrestling with myself since our Senior year in HS. What started as fun, grew into fun with problems, and eventually was just problems. And yes, it is fatal for far too many.

Depression is a similarly awful disease, and equally fatal.

Grateful today to be in long term recovery from both.

Blessings to David, and In memory him and our other brothers and sisters from our class who are struggling or are in recovery, I am available to chat with anyone struggling with these demons. Actually, there are MANY of us in recovery who are willing to help. Please reach out! We are here with and for you!
