Carol Koomey (Walls)

Carol Koomey (Walls)

Carol Koomey Walls passed away peacefully last Wednesday November 2, 2023 at the beautiful home she built and shared with her husband Cooper Walls and their 2 spaniels.  She had been diagnosed in September with late stage pancreatic cancer and it all went very quickly. Carol was an amazing photographer and calligraphy artist.

I have always held Carol in my thoughts as the woman who truly set the bar as a kind, sweet and loving woman.  She truly radiated her inner beauty to match her beautiful exterior.  I have no doubt she is with the Lord in Heaven today!  I am sad for her family, friends and those she could have impacted in a future that was not meant to be, however, celebrate her eternal life!  Thank you Carol for being Carol...  (forehead kiss emoji)

Carol was the kindest and sweetest person that I had the pleasure of knowing. A gifted photographer with a unique eye for it and a very personable individual whom everyone adored. The world is worse off without her. Rest in peace Carol.

So very sad. Carol was living in LA when Susan and I were marrying in San Diego. She came down and attended our ceremony in the Navy Chapel. Before heading off to the Navy, Carol, even a fabulous photographer and artist at 21, took some black and white portraits of me and Susan, then hand colored them. Susan and Carol had a wonderful friendship that I was privy to be a part. RIP Carol. We love you.

Pieces of Ache

In a long life made rich with family and friends
It is sadness when some meet premature ends
When one loved dearly is called on to depart
They take with them a little piece of our heart
As others pass, each time our heart is does break
Over and over, we lose these pieces of ache
But unknown to us is an angel from on high
Who safeguards these pieces until we too die
Then laces them together so we can then mend
And stitches out heart whole once again

My heart is broken when I heard the devestating news of the passing of my dear friend Carol "aka" Red Devil.
Not only was Carol one remarkable woman, she was so talented, selfless , kind and always thought of others before herself.  We shared many laughs over the years, and I am blessed to have had Carol in my life.
I will always cherish the times spent in her beautiful home she and Cooper built in Vancouver BC.
Carol was loved by so many and will be greatly missed!
May you Rest in Peace my dear friend. 🙏💔

Love, Kristina "aka" Pink Devil
